Privacy Notice

1. Who we are
Mane Mirror ("we", "us") provides an AI hairstyle try-on tool. We act as the data controller for the personal data described in this notice.
2. Data we collect
- Account data — name, email address, login credentials.
- Uploaded content — photos and reference images you submit for try-on, plus any client notes you save.
- Generated content — AI try-on previews tied to your account.
- Usage and device data — log data, IP address, device and browser identifiers, basic telemetry to operate and improve the Service.
- Support messages — anything you send us when contacting support.
3. Why we use it
- To create your account and provide the Service (legal basis: contract).
- To generate, store, and display your try-on previews (contract).
- To secure the Service and prevent fraud and abuse (legitimate interests).
- To improve product quality and fix bugs (legitimate interests).
- To respond to support requests (contract / legitimate interests).
- To comply with our legal obligations (legal obligation).
4. Who we share data with
- Service providers and subprocessors — hosting, database, AI model providers, analytics, and support tools that help us run the Service.
- Paddle.com — our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles payment processing, subscription management, tax compliance, invoicing, and customer service inquiries about your order.
- Professional advisers — for example legal and accounting advisers, where needed.
- Authorities — where required by law, court order, or to protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. Retention
We keep account data while your account is active and for a limited period afterwards to handle disputes and meet legal obligations. Uploaded and generated images are kept while your account is active so you can revisit past try-ons; you can delete individual items at any time. When data is no longer needed it is deleted or anonymised.
6. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular review of our systems. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. International transfers
Some of our service providers process data outside your country, including outside the UK and EEA. Where this happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. We aim to respond to requests within one month.
9. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to operate the Service (for example to keep you signed in) and a limited set of analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used. You can manage non-essential cookies through your browser settings.
10. Contact
For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact us through the support channel inside the app.
